Butyl Diglycol (BDG) is an organic glycol ether solvent, produced through the reaction of ethylene oxide and n-butanol in the presence of an alkaline catalyst. It is a colorless, clear liquid with a mild odor and low volatility. BDG is completely miscible with water and many organic solvents.
